Transmission Scheduling
Firm Transmission Rights (FTR)
Firm Transmission Rights (FTRs) are transmission rights acquired through an annual auction that have both a scheduling and financial aspect. These rights are acquired using the zonal model used prior to implementation of MRTU. FTRs will be replaced with CRRs with MRTU implementation.
Capacity Benefit Margins (CBM) Reports
Capacity Benefit Margins (CBM) are reserved by the CAISO in the Day Ahead Market to ensure the availability of adequate transmission capacity to serve CAISO native load.
