Summary:

Unless exempted by the ISO, a Generator providing AGC must install equipment and software (a Field RIG unit or equivalent acceptable to the ISO) that can interface with the ISO's Energy Management System (EMS). The procurement, engineering, installation and maintenance of the Field RIG is the responsibility of the Generator, and is outlined in The RIG Engineering/Deployment Guide.
