Maintenance Standards, Procedures, and Policies Developed by the Transmission Maintenance Coordination Committee - TMCC (an advisory committee to the ISO Board of Governors) and ISO staff based on good utility practices. Standards are required and procedures/policies serve as guidelines/support for Participating Transmission Owners (PTOs). |

Transmission Access Charge (TAC) Charges assessed, on behalf of the Participating Transmission Owner, to parties who require access to the ISO Controlled Grid. |

Participating Transmission Owners (PTO) The Transmission Owner Tariffs of PTOs and information regarding applications to the California ISO for status as a New Participating TO. |

Transmission Register A register of transmission facilities within the California ISO Control Area. In accordance with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the California ISO is to provide limited access to the Register of Transmission Facilities and Entitlements (RTFE) to market participants with a demonstrated, legitimate business need for such access in accordance with specified screening procedures (FERC Order issued Jan 24, 2003, Docket No. ER03-219). RTFE information is treated as critical energy infrastructure information. |
