Convergence Bidding Meeting

Main Text

The California ISO (CAISO) has rescheduled the tentatively planned stakeholder meeting for September 11, 2008 to October 16, 2008. The meeting regards a review of issues related to convergence bidding.  Convergence (or virtual) bidding is a mechanism for submitting financial bids that will be implemented after the start-up of the MRTU markets.

 

The CAISO will post a separate market notice three weeks before the October 16, 2008 meeting with further details.
