Annual Request Window for CAISO Transmission Plan

Summary

The Request Window for the 2009 CAISO Transmission Plan is now open from August 15 through November 15, 2008 for stakeholders to submit project proposals or study requests to be included in the annual CAISO Transmission Plan.  As identified in the Business Practice Manual for the Transmission Planning Process, the Request Window provides a 3-month window for submission.

Main Text

This year, the California ISO (CAISO) is implementing a Request Window, a new component of the CAISO Transmission Planning process which will be opened from August 15 through November 15, 2008.  As identified in the Business Practice Manual for the Transmission Planning Process (Transmission Planning BPM), the Request Window provides a 3-month window for stakeholders to submit project proposals and study proposals to be included in the annual CAISO Transmission Planning Process.  

 

The submission form, which includes descriptions of data requirements for each type of submission, is available on the CAISO Website at http://caiso.com/2024/20248db729d40.doc.  Please refer to http://caiso.com/1f42/1f42d6e628ce0.html for the submission instructions.  Interested stakeholders who intend to submit their projects through the Request Window should download the form and mail the completed form to Dana Dukes at 151 Blue Ravine Road, Folsom, CA 95630 before November 15, 2008.  CAISO will validate each submission and notify each submitter regarding the status of the application.
