Posting of Revised Technical Bulletin on Increasing CRR Eligibility

Summary

CAISO has posted a revised Technical Bulletin related to the process by which LSEs may increase their eligibility for CRRs by waiving ETCs or CVRs.  For those LSEs or OBAALSE wishing to waive all or a portion of the ETC, CVR rights, an executed waiver must be submitted no later than July 25, 2008.

Main Text

The California ISO (CAISO) has posted a revised Technical Bulletin related to the process by which Load Serving Entities (LSEs) may increase their eligibility for Congestion Revenue Rights (CRRs) by waiving Existing Transmission Rights (ETCs) or Converted Rights (CVRs).  This document primarily updates the key dates to be consistent with the annual CRR release process for CRR Year Two.

 

CAISO has posted the details of this process in a revised document entitled “MRTU Technical Bulletin 2007-08-010 Existing Transmission Contracts, Converted Rights, and Eligibility for Allocation of Congestion Revenue Rights” to its website at http://www.caiso.com/2000/20009af431890.pdf.

 

For those LSEs or Out-of Balancing Authority Area Load Serving Entity (OBAALSE) wishing to waive all or a portion of the ETC, CVR rights, executed waiver must be submitted to trtc@caiso.com no later than July 25, 2008.
