The California ISO (CAISO) has posted draft language for two
sections of the BPM for CRRs that pertain to Source Verification for CRR Year 2
Allocation (Section 6.4 of CRR BPM) and Seller’s Choice Contracts
(Section 6.3.4.4 of CRR BPM).
The CAISO is posting the draft language for these two
sections now, in advance of the entire updated version of the CRR BPM, to help
Load Serving Entities (LSEs) and Out-of-Balancing Authority Area Load Serving
Entities (OBAALSE) to better understand the process for verifying CRR
sources. This source-verification process is underway now. The 2009 Annual CRR Allocation Source Verification Schedule is
posted at http://www.caiso.com/1bb4/1bb4745611d10.html.
LSEs and OBAALSEs who are seeking to verify their CRR sources before
nomination may find this information useful.
