Eastern Central TAC Area Conference Call
___________________________________________________
Summary
The CAISO is seeking stakeholder input on its proposed recommendation to assign the transmission revenue requirements of Startrans IO, L.L.C. for its Mead transmission facilities to the Eastern Central TAC Area.
___________________________________________________
Main Text
On March 26, 2008 the CAISO Board of Governors approved acceptance of the Participating Transmission Owner (PTO) application of Startrans IO, L.L.C. Startrans IO purchased the Mead transmission facilities that are a part of the Eastern Central TAC Area. The CAISO is proposing to maintain this existing Transmission Access Charge (TAC) Area assignment of charges since the only change is the owner of the facilities.
The CAISO will post its proposal by close of business Friday, April 18, 2008 to its website at http://www.caiso.com/1fac/1facad7436580.html. Stakeholders are requested to submit questions and comments to Daune Kirrene at dkirrene@caiso.com by close of business April 23.
The CAISO will host a conference call on April 24 to obtain further stakeholder input and address comments and questions on the proposal.
