Main Text:
On April 8, 2008 the California ISO (CAISO) held a workshop to facilitate agreements between Generator Operators (GOs) and Transmission Operators (TOPs). Such agreements are intended to formally establish standardized communication protocols that can be published and used for potential North American Electric Reliability Council / Western Electricity Coordinating Council (NERC/WECC) audits. A matrix of suggested responsibilities between affected Generator Operator, Scheduling Coordinator and CAISO was presented at the meeting.
Stakeholders can submit comments on the Draft Generator Reliability Communication Protocol (GRCP) Responsibility Matrix located on the CAISO Website at http://caiso.com/1f9d/1f9dc63047160.html by close of business April 17, 2008 to tdelaney@caiso.com.
The CAISO recommends stakeholders use the track changes feature in MSWord to provide comments on the draft matrix. A column was added to capture any additional comments (e.g. description or reasoning behind suggested changes). Please include the following information when submitting comments:
