Main Text 

The California ISO (CAISO) will host a Convergence Bidding stakeholder meeting on May 2, 2008.  Convergence or virtual bidding is a key feature of Market Release 1A, which will be the first major set of enhancements to the CAISO market design after start-up of the Market Redesign and Technology Upgrade (MRTU) markets.

 

The purpose of this meeting is to review issues in the design for convergence bidding and to discuss virtual bidding practices in other ISOs.  A staff member from ISO-New England will participate in this discussion.
