Summary:  The CAISO will hold a conference call on March 5, instead of March 4 as previously scheduled, to collect input from stakeholders regarding Generator Availability Reporting.  Stakeholders can submit written comments on the Issues Paper to rwheeler@caiso.com by close of business March 18, 2008.

Main Text:  In 2006, the California ISO (CAISO) hosted a stakeholder process to review and determine a fair and reliable threshold and timeline for reporting Generator availability.  With stakeholder input from the process, the CAISO implemented changes to the tariff and began enforcement of the generator availability threshold and timeline.  During the stakeholder process CAISO committed to a review of the reporting requirements after reasonable experience had been gained. 

 

Resulting from CAISO initial review and input from Market Participants, CAISO has scheduled a stakeholder conference call to review Generator Availability Reporting.  Please note the call is scheduled for March 5, 2008, instead of March 4 as previously scheduled, to avoid conflict with another CAISO meeting. 

 

The CAISO has posted an Issues Paper to its website at http://www.caiso.com/1f72/1f72dde728440.html for stakeholder review and comment.  Please submit written comments to rwheeler@caiso.com by close of business March 18, 2008.
