Summary:  The CAISO has posted its straw proposal on declined real-time import and export bids on its website. The CAISO will hold a stakeholder conference call on November 15, 2007 to discuss the straw proposal.

Main Text:  The California ISO (CAISO) initiated a stakeholder process to assess options for addressing the problems involving declined pre-dispatched bids in preparation for MRTU and the summer of 2008.  As a part of this process, CAISO published a white paper and asked market participants to provide comments.  

 

The CAISO has reviewed market participants’ comments and published its straw proposal to its website at http://www.caiso.com/1c72/1c72db9160800.html.

 

The CAISO will hold a conference call on November 15 to discuss its straw proposal and get market participants’ feedback.
