Main Text: The California ISO (CAISO) is hosting a
stakeholder meeting on October 10, 2007 to review and comment on the progress of
the Greater Bay Area Long-Term Study.
The study includes maintaining reliable load serving capability to
account for projected load growth and mitigation of reliance on old thermal
generation and those using once-through cooling systems.
The CAISO has posted a draft meeting
agenda to its website at http://www.caiso.com/1c64/1c64bb9743ee0.html and will
post additional meeting material to the same location prior to the meeting.
