Summary:

This Report documents the results and recommendations of the 2008 Local Capacity Requirements (LCR) Study. The LCR Study assumptions, processes, and criteria were discussed and recommended through the LCR Study Advisory Group (LSAG)1, an advisory group formed by the CAISO to assist the CAISO in its preparation for performing the 2008 LCR Study (see December 6, 2006 LSAG meeting notes at http://www.caiso.com/1b64/1b648dea14820.pdf).
