Subject/ Title:  Reminder: 2007 RMR Requirements Stakeholder Meeting

Summary:  This is a reminder that the California ISO (ISO) is holding a stakeholder meeting on June 8th, 2006 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (PDT) at the ISO headquarters to present and receive comments on the technical studies it has prepared to determine the Local Area Reliability Service (LARS) requirements for the 2007 Contract Year.

The ISO will also present its proposal for making the transition from the current RMR paradigm to the proposed California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Local Capacity requirement.

The is a reminder that the ISO is holding a Stakeholder meeting on Thursday, June 8th, 2006 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (PDT) at the ISO headquarters in their Board Room to present and receive comments on the technical studies it has prepared to determine the Local Area Reliability Service (LARS) requirements for the 2007 Contract Year.  Participants will be on their own during the lunch break.

The call-in information will be posted to the ISO Calendar by the end of this week for those unable to attend in person.

This is the first stakeholder meeting in the 2007 LARS process that will identify the local generation capacity requirements the ISO will require for the 2007 calendar year.  Stakeholders will be provided an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the results presented, and to discuss issues related to the 2007 LARS effort as well as the ISO proposal for transitioning into the proposed California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Local Capacity requirement.
