The California ISO Operating-in-Training Program produces qualified applicants for entry level operator positions within or in support of the ISO control rooms.  After completing course work and on-the-job training, operator personnel are certified by the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) and North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC).
